Objectives
Trans2Tech has its strategic object to contribute to creation of the European market of innovations by helping lift up the technical and economic barriers that are at the origin of the present fragmentation of European technology transfer. Trans2Tech is a specific support action (SSA) aimed at fostering transnational technology transfer (TTT) throughout Europe by improving the marketing of technologies at both the levels of supply and need.
Regarding the first aspect, the project will:
- conceive and apply a system for evaluating the industrial potential of not only technologies but also projects, teams or organisations belonging to the European academic sector;
- bundle technology offers according to technological domains and industrial application domains;
- develop and implement an electronic portal designed to provide manufacturers and capital ventures with a structured view over technological opportunities throughout Europe, in particular thanks to connexion with other innovation structures’ website.
The second component of the project is dedicated to better identification, or even anticipation of industrial needs by:
- making a survey among enterprises;
- organising or participating to events focussed on technology transfer and the marketing of innovations.
Trans2Tech targets both Technology Transfer Offices in charge of the results of the European academic research (PROs, Universities, HEIs, etc.) and high technology industries (SMEs, start-ups, large companies) and intermediary groups (VCs).
